Obama: Fascism Made America Great, So Pay Up!
The Fallacious Argument of Barak Obama.
Obama argues that fascism (Cronyism) is a reason for small businesses to pay more tax. Only Fascism (Crony Capitalism thru Usurpation of State, Local and Individual responsibilities directly or indirectly thru "private companies" harms the real job creators NOT the "political entrepreneurs", the professional rent seekers.
Unsubsidized small business owners always pay forward as mentors. The first part of what Obama said was partially true. Self-interest makes it a necessity. Generousity of spirit makes it a pleasure. We are ever gratiful to those that came before us, who showed us the beauty of entreprenuerialism.
Our mentors generously shared their experience and wisdom, thus setting a whole new generation of effective visionaries into action. We do the same as it is inherently needed with truly limited government and true economic freedom under the rule of law.
Obama then fails to corrolate this spiritual debt of gratitude with Transportation spending as a reason to pay more tax. Highway, Transit, Airport and all other modes of transortation are HIGHLY subsidized when this very spending should be left to the State, local or private level.
The inefficiencies and corruption of Federally funded and directed Transportation money has led to mal-investment and forward build as baby boomers retire and unemployment remains high. Excessive Transportation spending harms small businesses because it takes a dollar out of our pocket that more usuefully could be spent, thus creating more wealth than mal-investment which has a net negative impact on our economy.
Miles drive and transit use has dropped as energy prices continue to remain high from monetary policy birthed through grossly negligent spending, exasperating the demographic bubble's transition into retirement. Politicians and their cronies will cry about how they need to pay for energy development infrastructure and transit subsidies and still, it should be left to the State, local and private investment. If the return is truly there, the private market will support public and private debt.
The current Highway Bill in negotiations is a budget buster introduced by Republicans in the House and is being piled on by the Democrats because of the transit and other appropriations. Add to this Transortation spending the Farm Bill under "negotiations" for unconstitutional agricultural subsidies and State Food Stamp programs and we've a toxic, job destroying mix supported in one way of another by both parties.
